There are a variety of parking options downtown, all within a short walking distance of your destination. With 10 public lots and unlimited street parking throughout the longest Main Street district in Texas, parking is a breeze in Downtown Denison. And the best part? It's always free!

On-Street Parking 

Street parking is available along Chestnut, Crawford, Main Street, Woodard, and cross streets unless otherwise marked for special events. Most downtown destinations are just a short walk away, making it easy to park and explore everything Downtown Denison has to offer.

Off-Street Parking 

Downtown Denison offers a variety of convenient public and private parking lots throughout the district. Simply look for lots marked with “Free Public Parking” signs near the entrance.  

All public parking lots are located within a short three-minute walk of Main Street, giving you quick and easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and events throughout downtown. 

Texas Sized Parking 

We know everything is bigger in Texas — including some of the vehicles visiting Downtown Denison! For trucks and larger vehicles that may not fit comfortably in certain on-street spaces, we kindly encourage using one of our convenient off-street parking lots whenever possible. It makes parking easier, helps traffic flow smoothly, and keeps downtown accessible for everyone. 

Many downtown businesses also offer alley access, making it easy to explore neighboring shops and restaurants while you’re here. Thanks for helping us keep Downtown Denison welcoming, safe, and easy to enjoy for all visitors!
