The Perrin Air Force Base Museum in Denison, Texas celebrates the rich history of Perrin Field, which served as a critical flight training center from 1941 to 1971. Operated by the dedicated Perrin Field Historical Society, the museum showcases a remarkable collection of artifacts—including a Cessna T‑37 jet, F‑86L Sabre, engines, uniforms, and mission-era memorabilia. In 2004, the original exhibit space opened, and has since expanded with a hangar addition completed in 2010 and a new extension in 2021. Special displays honor pioneering contributions to military and aviation history, including the Tuskegee Airmen and Cold War-era exhibits. Visitors can explore these compelling exhibits free of charge, with the museum open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.—an ideal stop for history buffs, veterans, and curious families.
