Rising at the entrance to Loy Lake Park in Denison, the striking Eisenhower Veterans Monument features a 16-foot bust of President and General Dwight D. Eisenhower atop a 5-foot stone pedestal. Created by renowned Texas sculptor David Adickes, the monument is flanked by five 35-foot flagpoles—one for each branch of U.S. military service—and is surrounded by personalized engraved bricks honoring local veterans.
