Loy Lake Park, nestled just southwest of Denison, spans approximately 200 acres and was originally developed during the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps under the name Judge Jake L. Loy Park. It features the historic Eisenhower Monument at the entrance, the Frontier Village with preserved 19th-century structures, and the Texoma Exposition & Livestock Show arena. Visitors can enjoy scenic nature trails, a tranquil fishing lake with launch access for kayaks or paddle boards, and pavilion areas ideal for picnics and gatherings. The pavilion, available in daily four-hour rental slots, overlooks the lake and includes picnic benches and restrooms—making it a perfect venue for reunions or casual events.
