This 8,000-square-foot historic mansion available for 30 guests was built by George Braun of Anheuser-Busch in 1882. Enjoy the open, luxurious living space with eight bedrooms, four baths, and unique features like a Ballroom, a large wrap-around porch, waterfalls, and a private catch and release pond. Enjoy our outdoor yard games, a swimming pool, an extensive library, and beautiful gardens.
The property has a fascinating history. The home belonged to the George Braun family until 1919 and was then used as a boarding home for several Denison families. As nearly every old house has a ghost story, the Braun Manor is said to have a few spirits that still linger in the home. While we can’t confirm or deny their presence… we believe most of the sounds guests hear are just sounds of an old creaking house.
