Denison on Ice | November 19th – January 1st | 1 – 9 pm Daily -The outdoor holiday ice skating rink will return to Downtown Denison (530 W. Main Street) and it will be available for our citizens and tourists alike!
Denison Arts & Jazz Fest | November 19th 10AM-5:30PM – Join us on Saturday, November 19th for the second annual Denison Arts & Jazz Fest! Bring your lawn chairs, kick back, and enjoy multiple styles of jazz while you shop at one of kind art vendors!
Holiday at the Market | November 19th – Join the Downtown Denison Farmers Market for their event on November 19th from 10AM-4PM and start your holiday shopping!
Grayson County Holiday Lights! – Bring the family and drive through the sparkle, color and animation of a holiday wonderland! The event will run November 25th – December 25th every day from 5:30PM to 10:30PM.
Small Business Saturday & Donut Hole Stroll | November 26th | 10AM-4PM – Join us in downtown Denison and visit participating businesses for complimentary donut holes while you shop for the holidays and enter for a chance to win a $500 gift card!

Christmas Tree Lighting & Concert | December 1st | 5:30-6PM – Join Santa at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Heritage Park and concert by Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group
2022 88th Annual Denison Christmas Parade | December 1st | 7PM – In keeping with our 150th Birthday Celebration, the theme is: A Christmas Carol: Honoring our Past; Celebrating our Present; Embracing our Future
2022 Hot Cocoa Competition | December 1st | 4-7PM – Warm up before the Christmas Parade with a cup of hot chocolate, vote for your favorite, and support a local cause!
Tour of Trees | December 1st – 24th – Vote for your favorite Christmas tree decorated by a local Denison School in a Downtown Shop!
Denison Holiday Tour of Lofts | December 3rd | 12-5PM – This year’s tour will feature eight AMAZING loft spaces, including the iconic Barrett Building and palatial Rialto Theatre!
Wonders of Winter | December 9th | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM- Join the Denison Parks & Recreation crew in Forest Park for a night of family friendly fun with a petting zoo, reindeer, Santa, snow play areas, and more!
Light Up the Park – Drive through Eisenhower State Park’s decorated campground to view the lights and decorations from 5-10pm on Friday, December 9, 2022 & Saturday, December 10, 2022. Help us match our donations from last year. Be sure to Bring an unwrapped toy per vehicle for free entry!
Twilight Shopping – Downtown businesses are staying open late until 8PM for twilight shopping every Third Thursday of the month! Join them December 15th for Twilight Shopping and free carriage rides down Main Street! Follow Denison Live for a full list of businesses participating!
